Create an IAB app-ads.txt file online
app-ads.txt is an IAB Tech Lab standard. Buyers’ crawlers are strict about its syntax — this generator writes exactly what the specification expects.

What the IAB specification requires
- A plain-text file named app-ads.txt at the root of the developer website from the store listing.
- One record per line: ad system domain, publisher account ID, relationship (DIRECT or RESELLER), optional certification authority ID — separated by commas.
- Comments start with #. Variables (CONTACT=, SUBDOMAIN=, OWNERDOMAIN=, MANAGERDOMAIN=, inventorypartnerdomain=) are allowed.
- Served over HTTP(S) with status 200 — not an HTML page, not a login wall.
Mistakes the generator avoids
- Placeholders left from instructions (“INSERT PUBLISHER ID”, “pub-XXXX”).
- Wrong relationship: your own account must be DIRECT.
- Files saved as UTF-16 by Windows editors — every line looks broken to a crawler. The generator always writes UTF-8.
- Smart quotes, tabs or HTML pasted from a web page.
Already published a file? Run it through the checker — it lists every invalid line with the reason and a corrected file.
